Davonteke sound of PierrotheMoon ! The happy face of noise, magic, freaky roots electro-acoustic Album.

So here we are, back in the myspace years! Anything was possible! And here you have Pierro's first album, considered a bit of a classic! Very daring for the time!

The aim was to use as many instruments as possible (for real!) and to compose electronic tracks with the colour of northern France... Especially with the north for its french fries ! Pieces that jump on George Brassens' riffs, or Gainsbourg's reggae pieces with the Wailers...

Pierro has created the Kitchfloor... That is to say, dancefloor music in Kitch mode.... If you have gastric problems, the Petsong song should be able to relieve you!

It may sound like a joke, but the atmosphere that emerges from this album is completely new, and will take you to a sort of nostalgia-tinged back world, where humility, the desire to travel, originality and emotion reign!

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
